eShop
Microsoft announced it had acquired eShop Inc., an Internet commerce software company. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. But The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday that a person familiar with the agreement had said Microsoft would pay less than $50 million for the company. eShop is known for eShop Plaza, a virtual mall on the Internet. Microsoft said it would integrate eShop’s products and technology into its merchant product line.
